This stripped down song was one of my first songs I ever wrote. The reason it is so bare is because that’s how the song lyrics come across. It’s a song about you giving all of yourself to one person, only to be broken down by them. You are left stripped of who you were. Yet, you take this sadness and you use it to make something beautiful. You become a stronger person as you heal and gain back who you once were. I’m so glad this song made it onto the album.
